Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with poses/ asanas, that are held for longer periods of time around 2-5 minutes per pose is typical.
Staying in a pose for that duration trains the mind and body to become calm and endure distractions, both physical and mental.
Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and over the long term re-modeling the connective tissue to help build strong and flexible joints.
It is a more meditative approach to yoga that is a natural healing practice, yin aims to cultivating awareness of inner silence, physical ease and mental calm.
Previous yoga experience is helpful but not necessary.

Most members choose a regular Home Class where their place is automatically reserved each week. This creates consistency, helps friendships develop within the group and allows steady progress in your practice.
Life doesn’t always go to plan, so when you need flexibility you can rearrange classes and make use of other suitable sessions on the timetable.
This combination of a reserved place and flexibility is what makes membership the most popular option for long-term members.
Monthly Membership also includes access to the online member library, providing additional resources and practice videos to support your learning between classes.
A quick note about Home Class reservations availability!
Home Class reservations can only be set up by the business and are subject to availability. If you would like a reserved place in a particular class, please get in touch before purchasing a membership so I can check availability and help you choose the option that best suits your needs.
